Awareness on Everyday Equality - IWA Women's Empowerment Cell Workshop

IWA Empowerment Cell Brings to you A theatre workshop on ‘Challenging Mindsets’ with a focus on gender sensitization.

Do we realize that as we go about our day to day affairs, how much a prisoner we are of our own mindsets? Mindsets in how we perceive ourselves as women. Awareness is the first step to empowerment, so let us come together for this theatre workshop that will challenge us in our thinking and make us question ourselves on how these perceptions through subtle conditionings sometimes impact our life decisions.

This would be done through a fun medium of forum theatre in which you will participate, create and conclude the stories – Stories that will make us think and perhaps evaluate our own direction.

This workshop will be facilitated by our very own IWA member Sangeeta Nambiar.

Sangeeta Nambiar is a film and theatre director who has written and directed 10 plays, 4 short films and a full length award winning feature film, A GRAN PLAN, slated to be released later this year. She writes her own plays and has also done 10 monologues on empowerment of women, as part of the I AM AMANAT team. She believes in empowerment of women and helping women understand their true potential.
